“Modern Zenith” villa represents the pinnacle of architectural mastery, embodying tranquility and balance. Located in a secluded suburb of Berlin, surrounded by pines, it was once a model of outdated 90s design with heavy forms and a closed layout. Our aim was not just renovation but a complete transformation of the space into a bright, airy, and functional environment that highlights the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Client’s Goals and Objectives:

The client wanted to transform this traditional home into a space inspired by Zen philosophy, with an emphasis on minimalism, natural materials, and integration with nature. The goal was to create a modern dwelling where comfort meets functionality, and each room provides a sense of tranquility and privacy.

Materials Used:

For the “Modern Zenith” villa, a range of high-quality natural materials was selected: Italian oak parquet for the floors, stone for accent walls adding texture and depth to the interior. The foundation of the design included eco-friendly paints and finishing materials, ensuring a healthy indoor atmosphere. Marble, used as an accent in the bathroom and hall, was chosen for its uniqueness and durability, as well as its excellent compatibility with the overall style of the house.

Design Concept:

“Modern Zenith” combines clean lines and open spaces characteristic of modern architecture with elements of natural aesthetics, creating a sense of tranquility and harmony. The interior is characterized by a smooth flow of spaces, where each area has its own character but is part of a cohesive design. Lighting solutions were carefully considered to create soft, yet adequate lighting that highlights natural materials and enhances the overall sense of space.

Spatial Planning Solutions:

The villa was redesigned to maximize interaction with the surrounding landscape. Large panoramic windows and sliding glass doors were introduced, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. The living room space was enriched with built-in shelves and niches for storage, allowing for minimal furniture and maintaining a sense of openness and order. A decorative fireplace was installed as the central element, adding warmth and visual interest.

Technical Implementation:

To realize the “Modern Zenith” project, we engaged a team of engineers and builders who specialize in modern construction technologies and eco-design. Smart home systems were integrated to ensure energy efficiency and automation of climate control, lighting, and security. Special attention was given to soundproofing and insulation to provide maximum comfort. The renovation and remodeling took 10 months, involving meticulous preparation and high-quality finishing.

Premium Brands:

The interior space of “Modern Zenith” was enriched with products from leading design brands. Furniture from Ligne Roset and Molteni&C gave the interior a modern and stylish look. High-tech kitchen appliances from Miele and Bora were chosen for their functionality and appearance, fitting seamlessly into the minimalist design. Lighting solutions from Artemide and Flos not only added aesthetic value but also contributed to creating the desired atmosphere.

Unique Features of the Project:

“Modern Zenith” is distinguished by its innovative approach to interior landscaping and lighting. A specially designed indirect lighting system was used to emphasize the texture of natural materials and create an effect of visual space expansion. A unique feature is the built-in aquarium system in the walls, adding dynamism and a sense of connection with nature. Also, the installation of an internal green wall with live plants serves not only a decorative function but also improves the indoor climate.
