“Elegant Classic” embodies the refinement and grandeur of the ages. Situated in the heart of Magdeburg, the apartments were once a haven of outdated ideas and tarnished interiors. Our clients dreamed of a home that would blend the building’s rich history with modern comfort and aesthetics, providing a luxurious yet functional space for contemporary living.

Client’s Goals and Objectives:

The clients wanted to transform these apartments into an exquisite residence that combines classic elegance with modern amenities. They aimed to infuse the interiors with freshness and light while preserving the historical charm of the rooms. The main task was to create an internal space that was both luxurious and cozy, perfect for family evenings and hosting guests.

Materials Used:

Every element in these apartments was carefully selected to create a harmonious and luxurious appearance. We used rare wood species for the flooring and richly decorated doorways that highlight the building’s historical heritage. High-quality silk wallpapers were chosen for the walls, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Murano glass lighting added airiness and elegance, while marble elements in the bathrooms and the lobby floor emphasized the impeccable taste of the owners.

Design Concept:

The foundation of the “Elegant Classic” concept was the desire to combine classical grandeur with the lightness of modern style. The main emphasis was on preserving historical interior elements such as moldings and parquet, while the furniture and decor were chosen to reflect contemporary trends without overcrowding the space. The predominance of light tones, adorned with classic details, is intended to enhance the sense of space and luxury.

Spatial Planning Solutions:

To achieve the goal of creating an open and airy space, we decided to remove several non-load-bearing walls, thus combining the living room and dining area into one cohesive space. This allowed us to increase the overall area and improve natural lighting. Hidden doors were implemented in the apartments, creating the illusion of continuity and integrity of the walls, while offering functional use of every nook and cranny of the living space.

Technical Implementation:

The technical side of the “Elegant Classic” project required careful consideration of the building’s historical features. Modern heating, electrical, and ventilation systems were integrated seamlessly, so as not to disrupt the classical aesthetics of the space. About 15 highly skilled craftsmen specializing in the restoration of historical interiors participated in the project, allowing us to preserve unique decor elements while updating the functional components of the apartments. The work was completed within nine months, according to the set schedule.

Premium Brands:

Every detail in the “Elegant Classic” interior exudes a spirit of luxury, thanks to the use of premium brand products. Furniture from Italian manufacturers such as Natuzzi and Poltrona Frau added sophistication and comfort to the interiors. Lighting fixtures from Swarovski and Flos brought a play of light and shadows, enhancing the sense of depth and richness. Plumbing fixtures from Villeroy & Boch and Grohe in the bathrooms emphasized the unmatched quality and elegance.

Unique Features of the Project:

“Elegant Classic” stands out among modern renovations for its unique ability to respect history while maintaining modern comfort. A feature of the project was the restoration of the original moldings and parquet, adding authenticity to the interior. The implementation of advanced “smart home” systems, hidden within the classic design, allowed for the combination of traditional values with innovative technologies.
