Marina Vista Apartments (Dubai)

OVERVIEW

Prior to renovation, the apartment had unremarkable interiors and a dated finish. Our task was to make this space not only stylish, but truly comfortable to live in.

The Client’s Goals and Objectives:

The client wanted a space that was both spacious and welcoming, with a muted colour palette and accents of natural wood and stone. The principal goal was to create an interior that would remain relevant for many years to come, bringing together classic elements and contemporary detailing.

Materials Used:

For the flooring, we chose engineered wood laid in a French herringbone pattern, in a light, neutral shade that adds rhythm and warmth to the space. The standout feature in the kitchen and dining area is large-format porcelain stoneware with the expressive texture of natural stone (travertine or onyx), used for the kitchen splashback, the wall and the island countertop. To balance the cool stone, we introduced decorative slatted panels in dark wood and unique textured panels in embossed gold-toned metal. Minimalist matte kitchen fronts and premium appliances complete the look, underscoring its contemporary style.

Spatial Planning:

We opened up the space by merging the living room and dining area into a single whole. Glass partitions and zoned lighting allowed us to visually expand the space while clearly defining its functional areas. In the bedrooms, we added sliding-door wardrobes that maximise storage capacity while preserving a sense of openness.

Technical Execution:

This was a truly ambitious project, and its realisation called for the seamless coordination of a team of 25 professionals, including designers, builders and engineers. The works took approximately five months, during which we collaborated closely with the client to ensure that every aspect of the renovation aligned with their vision.

Premium Brands:

To achieve the very best in quality and style, the project drew on products from leading international brands. The furniture was made in-house, which accelerated the renovation works considerably, while the appliances were the latest models from German and Swiss manufacturers.

Unique Features of the Project:

Every project is an opportunity for us to bring something unique to life. In this home, we implemented a fully automated system for climate, lighting and security control. The use of energy-efficient technologies and natural materials not only reduced the property’s environmental footprint, but also added an extra layer of comfort for the client.
