Project “Walnut Symphony”

“Walnut Symphony” is a project realised in collaboration with designer Mizanna Designs. We transformed these spacious apartments into a cohesive, atmospheric space where warm American walnut becomes the defining leitmotif of the interior. Our brief was to bring together natural materials, soft light and considered geometry to create a home in which every element underscores comfort, elegance and an elevated quality of living.

The Client’s Goals and Objectives:

The client wanted a warm, refined interior with an emphasis on natural wood and stone, yet without any sense of heaviness. Among the key requirements were thoughtfully designed storage systems in every room, a striking multimedia zone in the living area, a comfortable home office and bedrooms with a soft, calming ambience.

Materials Used:

The foundation of the interior is richly textured American walnut veneer, which we applied to the walls, furniture and built-in joinery. It is complemented by Italian marble with expressive veining — used on splashbacks, countertops and accent panels. Fluted panels with integrated lighting, linen textile wall inserts and brass hardware lend the space its distinctive character. The floors are finished in large-format porcelain stoneware in graphite tones.

Design Concept:

We built the interior around the contrast between warm walnut and cool marble, softened by a neutral palette of beige, grey and graphite. Deep olive-green accents in the textiles, velvet armchairs and accessories add depth and individuality to the scheme. Light plays the leading role: concealed lighting delicately highlights the textures of wood, stone and linen, creating a sense of volume and serenity.

Spatial Planning:

In the living room, we united the media zone, a bar area with wine refrigerators and a striking geometric shelving unit into a single full-wall composition. The bedrooms feature built-in wardrobes, a dressing table with a round backlit mirror and a walnut headboard with integrated reading lights. A separate home office with a desk and open shelving is arranged as a self-contained, focused space.

Technical Execution:

The project was delivered by a team of experienced architects, designers and engineers working closely with Mizanna Designs. Particular attention was paid to the precision of the joinery — the complex geometry of the shelving, the matching of the veneer and the integration of the lighting. Rigorous quality control was maintained at every stage to meet the client’s requirements and achieve a flawless result.

The project incorporates solutions from premium brands across furniture, lighting, integrated appliances and wine storage systems. Renowned for their quality and impeccable design, these names made it possible to create a refined and highly functional interior.

Unique Features of the Project:

The defining feature of the project is the bespoke joinery: diagonal and geometric shelving, fluted backlit panels and solid walnut surfaces, all crafted to order. Concealed architectural lighting and carefully considered lighting scenarios turn each zone into a composition in its own right, while the interplay of natural materials makes the space warm and genuinely individual.
