OVERVIEW

Before work began, the property was a standard, characterless space defined by dated solutions. Our foremost priority was a profound transformation of the interior: we set out to create an aesthetically refined environment in which forward-thinking design ideas are woven harmoniously into everyday comfort.

The Client’s Goals and Objectives:

At the heart of the brief was the creation of a timeless interior — visually spacious, welcoming and impervious to passing trends. The client placed particular emphasis on a calm palette and tactility: the natural warmth of wood paired with the monumental presence of stone. We brought together understated classicism and contemporary functionality within a single architectural ensemble.

Materials Used:

The interior is built on an intricate dialogue of textures. The flooring is finished in light engineered wood laid in the classic French herringbone pattern, lending the space a soft, measured rhythm.

The kitchen-living area is dominated by wide-format porcelain stoneware that emulates layered travertine, used for the splashback, the accent wall and the monolithic countertop of the kitchen island. The cool stone is balanced by vertical slatted panels in dark wood and bespoke panels in embossed gold-toned metal. The finishing touch is provided by smooth matte furniture fronts and high-tech integrated appliances.

Design Concept:

We rethought the apartment’s architecture, creating an open-plan format for the living room and dining group. Intelligent lighting scenarios and the use of transparent partitions allowed us to fill the rooms with air while retaining a logical division of zones. The storage systems in the bedrooms are designed to be concealed, maintaining visual order without compromising on usable capacity.

Spatial Planning and Timeline:

Bringing the concept to life called for an interdisciplinary team of 27 experts. Thanks to well-organised management and continuous dialogue with the owner, the entire cycle of works — from demolition to the final styling — was completed in four and a half months.

Distinctive Features:

Particular attention was paid to the quality of the furnishings. The cabinetry and upholstered furniture were manufactured at our own facility to bespoke specifications, which significantly shortened the delivery timeline. The appliance package is fitted out with flagship ranges from German and Swiss manufacturers.
